Pros

The people at the WeWork space (they don't have a real office) are super nice.

Cons

Read the interview review left by another reviewer. That is much closer to the truth than the review listed (which everyone agrees was written by Sheri herself). You'll be constantly threatened that she'll reduce your salary if you screw up regardless of if it's your fault or she gave you wrong information. She screams. A LOT. And talks about fellow employees behind their back - very unprofessional. There is no work/life balance. She'll make you stay late out of spite Accept a job here at your own risk. You've been warned!

Pros

I was at Strategy Media Services for a little less than 2 years before leaving to pursue another opportunity. Without all the experience I gained from my time at SMS, I never would have successfully secured my current position. As you work with a small team, you wear many different hats and learn a lot very quickly. I had applied for the position with extremely limited media knowledge (I was straight out of college and it wasn’t even my major), but Sheri & Tyler taught me everything. I learned about media planning, media buying, reporting, and client management. I was given the opportunity to work with platforms such as DCM, Analytics, and Facebook. And that’s just a small part of it! Today, I am confident in my media knowledge and I very much owe my current success to SMS. If you are willing to put in the hard work and time to learn, you will definitely thrive and build many useful skills for the future. To this day, I continue to use all the skills I learned and am eternally grateful for getting the opportunity to work there. TL;DR: You learn a lot very quickly and will gain many skills that are applicable anywhere. You get to work with an amazing/intellectual team. Great location (right next to Grand Central Station)!

Cons

If you aren’t willing to put in hard work, this position may not be the right fit for you. Also, as it is the media industry, expect a very fast-paced work environment which may not be for everyone.
