Pros
-Lots of opportunity to meet and develop relationships with people including those outside your department due to regular (inside and outside of work hours) social events -Ability to move laterally across departments as well as up depending on department -Lots of people with VERY long tenure here, more so than any other place I have worked, it is a stable company -People are kind here and higher ups/HR are legitimately approachable, and there is a well-used system for recognizing employee contributions, and stated values are reflected and rewarded -The work has lots of variety and deadlines are reasonable, there are not a bunch of excess hours expected, work-life balance is great for this role -Memphis has a really low cost of living, the role pays enough to live comfortably in the Memphis/Cordova area -Demographics of the office more closely match population demographics than anywhere else I have worked in the area, and management is also more diverse than average
Cons
-Training in the actual role can be a little haphazard sometimes (but asking questions is encouraged, and they are working to develop more robust training) -Some of the finance/accounting department roles do not have an obvious career track
