Pros

Base pay for sales. Company vehicle.

Cons

Through my tenure with StoredTech I saw the sales team go from eleven to two. Outside of sales, the other company saw drastic turnover as well. Very much a revolving door. Before I left, there were nearly 30 personnel changes in a 12 month span. This is a company that employs about 50... Management has control issues and trouble fulfilling promises on support and growth opportunities. This is due to the chaos that they enable to happen.

Not every employee is the right fit on the bus or even on the right bus. Sales roles are very unique because in no other spot in the organization is there such a personal control over your growth or earnings. We have a number of amazing sales people exceeding quota every month and delighting clients as they go. As an employer we need sales to continue to fuel the engine of the company. If the sales person is not performing there is a negative impact on the organization. Considering StoredTech had 30% growth in 2019 and if your review is to be believed and it was accomplished with 2 people instead of 11, that speaks volumes more then any response from us.

Very supportive management. Everyone is so helpful in every department, they are always there to answer questions or guide you however they can! Flexible work schedule makes it easy to plan other life events.

Cons

If you’re new to IT, there is so much to learn.

Pros

-promises of a great and supportive culture -company allows 1 day remote work per week

Cons

-culture of harassment that is encouraged by the CEO -inability to career roadmap for employees -dated technology practices -leadership talks about employees behind their back I was told by many employees that the owner was complaining when I took paid family leave for my child who was born with health issues. I was fired a year later with no official reasoning, owner told me I needed too much flexibility 3 months after firing me. This is the type of place that this business is, this is the type of owner who the owner is, and nothing will ever change – I worked here for eight years. They have a habit of firing people when they don't want them anymore – no reason is ever given and it's a very uncomfortable work environment for all of the engineers. Leadership makes fun of all employees behind closed doors - they have no respect for the employees.
