Great teamwork within department. Department managers generally care about their department and team members. It's a good place to learn how a retail establishment operates. If you show initiative and work hard you will usually be left to handle your job without being bothered,
Cons
The overall environment depends a lot on your store manager and ASMs. Management changes over very often and can change the atmosphere entirely. You can work hard and smart here but they usually will not do anything worthwhile to promote or retain you. There will always be new people applying and they will just keep turning the employees over and over,
