Pros

- Good benefits - Good office locations - Hybrid opportunities

Cons

- No workplace culture, very old-fashioned and archaic in areas - Little to no room for promotions, no clear progression ladder - Established colleagues are favoured over more capable, newer, employees - No appreciation or understanding when dealing with tasks under pressure

Pros

At a day to day level, the experience is pleasant. Though having spoken with peers, seems this can vary a little depending on the team. Purpose led objectives and operating in sectors that make the grind feel more worthwhile; it's not cold, corporate big money deals.

Cons

There's rhetoric about development and fairness, but there's some clear instances of inconsistency and (what looks like) favouritism when it comes to development opportunities and career progression. Feels like you'll get on if your face fits or you have a strong relationship with the right Partner (i.e. an equity Partner). Pay and benefits are not competitive. At a junior level, this is a place to cut your teeth if no other better options. Then go get your money elsewhere. Diversity is poor. Little is happening on the DEI front. Staff networks (Women's, and Parents and Carers) are inactive. Management is varying. Real pot luck as to the quality and level of line management you get.

Pros

Working with some lovely people.

Cons

A complete lack of transparency around pay and clear favouritism. A very old-fashioned approach, with minimal training or support. Senior staff show little interest in junior career progression. There is also a lack little engagement with EDI. Moving toward being a mid size firm without fair pay and increased hours. Avoid.
