Middle management needs to change. My manager forgets our conversations and she cannot use our CRM software (Salesforce). The only time we really have conversations is when its related to compensation or expenses so its a real problem. What's worse, is blame is deflected towards me when discrepancies arise. I have tried to address this anonymously (I don't want to be accused of age discrimination) with HR but it has gone nowhere. My manager has made my life miserable and I spend hours on the phone each week trying to communicate basic things with her. The age gaps between management and front line employees can be extreme. It feels like our company is getting old and stale right at the point when we need to have a new approach with our customers.
