Thank you for your input. David Fox CEO responses:
1. Yes, Stellar is not just around, but experiencing growth and positive change as we build the team who will change this industry in months and years to come. We announced via press release two months ago where we raised a $26.3m Series A from some of the largest and most astute investors in the world.
2. Yes, we've pivoted as many start ups do to find the right product market fit and partnerships which is what led to our Series A investment. Good leadership tends to find a way to make things happen, raise money to build the business (think talent acquisition/recruiting), and find the right strategic partners to accelerate growth. With this round of funding we've been able to attract top talent and are very excited about the future of the company.
3. I'm very confident we can run Stellar effectively and have appropriate back grounds for success. Here is our leadership background: My family background in aviation dates back 3 generations to 1934 and I have been CEO of 2 other successful technology companies. My co-founding partner Paul Touw, founded XoJet (the largest operator in the country) and founded Ariba.. Our Lead investors CEP led Bain's Aviation practice and founded Volaris Airlines, now publicly traded. Our other Board members, Dave Siegel, ran Frontier Airlines, US Airways, Avis. Shawn Vick is the CEO of Global Jet Capital, funded in part by Carlyle who has one of the largest Aerospace PE funds in existence. So, I certainly think we've got some teammates around the table that have done some stuff in tech and aviation in their careers.
Best of luck to you in the future. I hope you find a place that truly makes you happy. Life is too short.
