Pay was decent at one point but has lagged behind quite a lot in recent years.
Cons
IT leadership is very poor, communication often involves actual screaming. Very undermining and condescending. Complete lack of trust. Bad organizational skills. Inconsistent skill sets among various IT staff. Help desk severely lacking in basic abilities, leaving senior IT staff wasting tons of time on remedial tasks. Poor tech adoption practices, nearly all physical infrastructure. Terrible work life/balance — ridiculous amounts of on-call, at all hours of the night.
