Pros

Honestly besides the people I worked with. I can't think of any.

Cons

I had a rough start. I lost a family member, and then my mother had a severe stroke. Being power of attorney I had to be there to sign things or transfer her. My manager at the time was "so understanding". Being on 90 day probation we would have weekly visits to discuss my progress. Each time we met he said and I quote "you're doing a great job, I wouldn't worry about the 90 days. " He then asked me if I need any time off due to everything going on. I told him I did not want to lose my job, and knew the attendance policy. Again and I quote "I wouldn't worry about attendance. You keep doing what you're doing and all that other stuff isn't important. I wouldn't worry about your attendance at all. Don't stress about it". We then discuss the amount of time I missed and I told him I felt concerned with my job because I hate missing work. Again "seriously don't worry about you attendance. You're not going anywhere" then he says we don't have to meet weekly. You're doing good I have no concerns about your performance. We can meet every other week. Then yesterday. Calls me into a meeting with him and HR. "we are going to terminate your employment due to time and attendance. You can imagine my shock. You can imagine how my heart dropped of disappointment. I have never in my years of employment felt so betrayed. Lied to and made a fool of. I was honest and said if I just cannot miss let me know. I will make accommodations so I don't miss work. But no. He flat out lied and feed me a spoon full of B's. Then when I told him he made me feel safe so I wasn't expecting this. He responds with "honestly we should have done this along time ago (let me go)." Yet the whole time it's. "don't worry your good. Keep it up".

Pros

If you do a good job for a little over a year you can move into lots of great growth opportunities ServiceNow was very well configured for the scale it handled. I've since worked at places with SNOW that are much smaller scale environments and be less efficient. Depending on the desk you are assigned

Cons

It can very much be a slog depending what desk you're assigned. The shifts can go pretty late and they never pushed doing overnight to anyone that wasn't interested but having a 2-10 shift was rough on my social life and overall rhythm/mental health I was told to hold out until Dec/Jan on a shift change (asked for one in July) My training was pretty scattered. Sessions were pretty easily disrupted and kinda like a "oh and lets do this next, uh now that." That said in a support role you're gonna do most your learning with the training wheels off but a lot of on the fly learning for the SNHU project was staunch from how all the VMs, eBooks, courses, etc flowed. Another situationally dependent note but management was hard to get ahold of sometimes
