Training should equip the employee to know and handle the hazards and liability associated with their specific role, especially for contractors and temporary employees.

Some decent bonuses over the last decade, 401K match exists, a plethora of employee benefits available at open enrollment.

Company has been successfully sued for not paying those bonuses mentioned as a pro. It’s hard to get ahead with just hard work. Brown nosing and nepotism seem to pay off better than hard work in many cases. Company culture has severely declined to the detriment of the average employee with no breaks on the horizon.
