Pros

Note: there are multiple departments under the SORM banner so not all reviews are for positions/sectors you may be researching. This is for Agency Relations. -Full state benefits: medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k, and retirement pensions. Vacation and medical leave provided -Free downtown parking through 9 different state garages -Multiple state holidays = multiple paid days off -Office environment is extremely friendly and includes: potlucks, Halloween costume contests, end-of-year holiday parties, etc. -Decorate your work space however you want -Workstations and laptops provided -After 6 months, remote work becomes available. -Management always available to talk and make it a point to visit daily to see how you're doing/if you need anything -Communication is solid between teammates -Creative freedom is given and highly encouraged to experiment -Hard deadlines are never pushed on us. Job is done when it's done and as long as you stay on top of things, there isn't much stress or crunch.

Cons

-Dealing with the other departments inside SORM means that wires can get crossed easily. -Since we are a government agency, security is always high/present and requires multiple badges and check-ins to get to your desk. While security itself isn't a con, just the knowing that the office could potentially be a target is a bit scary.

Pros

The employees try really hard to help you succeed despite management.

Cons

Lack of performance reviews, accountability of management, decision making is held by a select few, micro management is perfected.
