Pros
Extensive training for each job role. Excellent benefits via 401(k) and medical/dental. Unfortunately the pension plan was phased out for new hires. Managers care about their employees but are hamstrung by metrics requirements.
Cons
Every aspect of your job is scrutinized and micromanaged by arbitrary company metrics. Even though State Farm acknowledges the claims department is severely understaffed post-pandemic the target metrics were never adjusted to reality leading to heavy employee stress and turnover due to quitting and firings.
