Pros

Lots of instruction & training. It was disseminated a bit disorganized and when we hit the floor there was a considerable amount of hands things not found in job aids but we learned as we went along especially if you are on a good team.

Cons

There is no uniform across the board fairness. You are only as good as your Team Leader allows you to be. The alone assess you. HR will only offer a sit down between you. If you get a rigid, critical, micromanger who has you spending most of your time not learning your job well but how to do it in a way they aren't pointing out what other ways it could have been done. .vs. a relaxed Team Lead who gives positive reinforcement, constructive criticism & redirecting when needed you are free to learn how to great confidently.

Pros

(At the time) Fair pay and predictable bonus structure They were pretty good at covering travel expenses and paying them back quickly Diverse workforce & diversity initiatives Fun and funny coworkers Opportunities for growth Again, this was all four years ago and has likely changed

Cons

(At the time and now, according to other comments) Arrogant to a fault Total lack of innovation & willingness to innovate Odd attachment to the company's past (which prevents progress) High number of veterans (20+ years) who are determined to get that retirement money, and therefore, are resistant to change and technology Heavy reliance on command and control management style Poor decision-making that leads to losses of all kinds
