Pros

Some of the good parts about working here were some of the people and a nice office. Flex time is great if you have a doctor's appointment and they have a good matching IRA program.

Cons

This company does great work for the people they are trying to reach, but since they are incredibly understaffed for the amount of work they are taking on, expect to be worked harder than you've ever been. If you are home sick, you are expected to work unless you literally can't get out of bed, or you can use 1 of your 10 PTO days a year to not work if you're sick. They are very strict with coming in to work on time to the minute, not going over a 30 minute lunch, and taking breaks that don't last longer than 5 minutes. It is a religious company, which I enjoyed at first, but I constantly felt overworked and since it was doing "God's work" it was understood that I should take on a very large workload with little compensation or appreciation with enthusiasm. When I was facing a very difficult time in my personal life, I was met with support that only went so far once my situation started to affect my work on a minimal level. The executive team and leaders are all their own clique since they've known each other for so long, which makes feeling like you have someone there for you on a higher level very difficult. Most everyone working here know each other outside of work or are related, which makes it feel like you're an outsider. Opportunities for growth inside the company are limited unless you're related to someone or have known them outside of work. For a for-profit Christian company, the "profit" stands out more than the Christian part, which is the opposite of all communication told to you by the executive team. You will be worked hard to make a profit for the company and be paid way under the workload that you will have to take on.

Pros

Entry level work with on the job training. $50k life insurance paid by company. You can use your work computer for personal outside of work hours. Up to 4 hours of flex time every two weeks. No overtime.

Cons

Turnover has caused massive amounts of additional work piled on those who are still there. Constantly hiring, not because of growth, but to replace people who have left. No raises without threatening to quit. Micromanaging VPs and C-Suite execs. HR is unhelpful and does not pay out accrued PTO upon resignation as stated in company handbook. Benefits are expensive and not great.
