Terrible company - Payroll Starpay Employee Review

During my employment at Starpay I learned a wide variety of skills that I will be able to take with me wherever I go. One of the many pros of working at Starpay is that your voice is always heard. The owners and supervisors are very approachable and easy to talk to which is not something you find in every company. Whether it's wanting to gain experience in another field of the business, requiring additional training on certain tasks or expressing frustration during stressful times with clients, upper management is always there to take the time to listen to your wants/needs and attend to them as quickly as possible. The staff is very friendly and always eager to help with any questions you may have. My experience with Starpay has been amazing and I truly believe it is a great place to work. Whether you are just starting out in your career or you want to take your career to the next level, Starpay will give you the platform to get you to where you want to be.

I have no bad things to say about the company. I chose to leave for personal growth in a different field of business.

Starpay has a very friendly environment which relies on heavy teamwork and communication. Since it's a small company you might be assigned many different types of tasks which has personally helped me grow in places I didn't realize I could grow. A year ago, the job was shaky but they have since hired an excellent director who has helped create a healthy work environment and who keeps everything in check. Even though it's such a small company, there is a LOT of personality and it makes those 8 hours go by quick and painless. I am very glad to have worked here for a year, if the opportunity arises and we cross paths in the future, I'd love to do it again.

Being a small company, the workload can vary greatly. Some days will be dead and other days you will work hard (especially if someone is out sick). Also, due to being a small company, the benefits are not what you'd find at a big company. There are also many authority figures that intermingle so if you don't have the communications skills to express what you're prioritizing or when you need help, you might have a hard time.
