The majority of management has no business being in a manager role and were only promoted to their positions due to favoritism. Most of them lack basic people skills and have no caring or empathy for their employees whatsoever. Most feedback given is negative. Managers are mostly unavailable to their teams pretty much all day because they're constantly in these unnecessary meetings. Star One also has a "lean and mean" operating model meaning you will be worked like a slave. They use that as a reason to justify their higher pay but as a $10B credit union you can afford to pay your employees well and hire more staff so your employees aren't so exploited and burned out. Lastly Star One is an overwhelmingly conservative organization that is stuck in another era. Most of their executives and board members are from the Boomer generation and it shows. No progress. No forward thinking. Just stuck in their ways.
