Pros
I worked here part-time while I was in college, so it was a good enough way for me to make some money on the side for groceries. Management seemed fine, and my coworkers and supervisors were friendly and helpful. It also wasn't as busy of a store in comparison to grocery or clothing stores (except during back to school season), so it wasn't too bad as my first retail job.
Cons
- I was often one of 2-3 employees in the entire store. - I was regularly trained to push products that no customers wanted to buy, and it felt like I couldn't just focus on getting other work done because of that. - It was difficult for me to balance working on print projects and ringing out customers. - The print counter seems to be where Staples just shoves any other random services they don't know where to put. - There was too much to do and not enough employees.
