Pros

- The colleagues who are still here are wonderful people. - We still have the 9-Day Fortnight (9DF) for this year. However, given the current direction of leadership, I strongly suspect this benefit will be removed soon, just like the others. - Historically, this company had a "family feel" where we genuinely cared about one another.

Cons

Since the arrival of the new CEO, the culture has shifted drastically. What used to be a supportive environment has become a place I hardly recognise. - The empathy and flexibility we used to have are gone. Benefits are evaporating, and the focus has shifted entirely to metrics over people. - We've lost all flexibility with a mandatory return to office. Because salaries are significantly below market, many of us can’t afford to live near the CBD. This commute is a massive hit to work-life balance and a literal pay cut; travel costs alone eat over 4% of my annual salary during a cost-of-living crisis. - Promotion and hiring choices make no sense. Positions are frequently given to "friends" of senior management rather than the most competent candidates. Often, the company just picks the cheapest internal option to save money—another example of damaging short-term thinking. - The workload has increased, and we are expected to "highly perform" and do more with less. Despite this, there are no salary increases and no bonuses. - Instead of motivating us, management has resorted to tracking employees. It feels like surveillance rather than leadership. The result of all this is that talented, good people are resigning one by one.

Pros

9df 3 days work in office though micro managed Glival working policy Anniversary packages.

Cons

Since 2021, the company has faced ongoing challenges, including frequent annual restructures. There appears to be a strong focus on monitoring office attendance, which can sometimes feel restrictive. There are also concerns around role alignment, as some individuals in key positions may lack the necessary experience or expertise. This can impact decision-making and create frustration for team members with relevant skills. Overall, the work environment can feel unstable due to ongoing organizational changes. Managers are often made redundant, contributing to a sense of uncertainty. Furthermore, the global working policy is inconsistently applied. Even when employees meet the criteria, managers may be reluctant to approve requests, often asking staff to take annual leave instead. The company has not been willing to provide carers’ leave when a family member is unwell, instead requiring to use annual leave. Interviews for internal roles or promotions are open for anyone to apply and informed its merit based. The person who interviews varies questions so that the person they are inclined too lands the role and limiting questions for other people to not land the role.
