Pros

Free tea and coffee and that’s about it.

Cons

Micro managed and horrible environment to be in. I advise people to avoid this establishment. They run off a hire and fire policy. I have seen so many new people get hired used and fired. The management team have no Respect.

Pros

StaffHost has the best team in the industry — a truly genuine group of people and some of the best recruiters I’ve ever worked with. Their brand and leadership are outstanding. Their ability to truly understand what a client is looking for and deliver on that hire is second to none. Leaving StaffHost was an incredibly difficult decision. When I told them I was leaving recruitment, they didn’t try to talk me out of it. Instead, they offered sincere advice and wished me the best of luck. That response only reinforced what I already knew — they are genuinely decent people, which is rare to find in recruitment.

Pros

Good training provided if you are coming in as a new consultant as the directors will spend a lot of time with you one on one. Genuinely send out good profiles without spamming clients with bad CVs, very careful here so keep relationships with the small amount of clients they do have.

Cons

Miss sell the role and the culture to candidates coming in. There is no real client base to go into, and as a new consultant you are spending the majority of time bringing on new business as StaffHost do not have a large client base, and the current accounts are already taken by some of the senior consultants. This is fine, but this is not generally what is sold in the interview. There is no real strategy, the Directors decide to do one thing one day then something completely different the next. The Directors openly speak about past employees very unprofessionally and negatively after they leave the business and make fun of them and how bad they were. The culture is completely wrong, the room is complete silence and if anyone speaks out of line the Directors will shout, get angry and swear at you, honest truth. Very micromanaged where they constantly want to know what you are doing. Directors will set targets for rewards, eg early finish, then make you feel bad if you take them, or will not award people presidents club when they have earned it.....

Presidents Club is the pinnacle of our sales year and something we take very seriously. We have never taken away a Presidents Club award. Last year we spent 4 days in New York and so far this year, 60% of our business are on track to achieve our 5-star trip to Monaco. We also took the entire business to Brighton for a long weekend in celebration of achieving half year targets.
