Pros
There is pretty much zero micromanaging. I get along very well with all my coworkers and management. Compared to other recruiting agencies I've worked for, there is low stress and you have control over your own success. No long crazy hours. If you want to work 10 hours a day that is your call, but no one is watching the clock when you get in the office or when you leave. In terms of working with consultants, everyone here has high morals and ethics. Everything is above board and transparent. Full disclosure is clear from the start. If someone has questions, they answer honestly and as best they can.
Cons
It's hard to compete with the perks you may get at other companies (both big and small). Not able to offer benefits to consultants can be a tough sell sometimes, but I've also found with the larger companies that the benefits offered aren't much better than the open market anyways. There isn't much in the way of training or SOPs currently, so you are in charge of keeping yourself on point. Everyone is helpful when you have questions, but it can be slow picking everything up your first day/week.
