Pros

Some nice perks during office hours. Office is new. Relaxed dress code. Can bring pets to the office!

Cons

The culture is strange. There are full time salaried employees who openly arrive late and leave early a few nights a week to go work a different part time job (they also leave work events early to go to the pt job). It’s nice we aren’t getting micro managed with our time, but it really isn’t a great look to other employees. These employees are clearly working less than 30 hours a week as ft hires while people in the same role are expected to work 40+. One department gets weekly facials other and openly leaves during work hours to do this. It all looks unprofessional.

Pros

Having work experience from a recognizable organization is awesome. Even though the matchdays are long and mostly on the weekends, I found them to be the most exciting part of the role. There are a lot of office perks; coffee, matchday giveaways, store discounts, etc. The headquarters is a safe and cool environment.

Cons

Your supervisor/department can make or break your internship experience. I personally felt like CITY SC was willing to give the interns experience, but was reluctant when it came to job opportunities within the organization. Do not expect a job offer and plan accordingly if you are a student. Again, I believe it depends on your department.
