Pros

If you can go 60 days without getting paid from this job, you will learn that there are better industries and companies that you should pursue.

Cons

This is a highly competitive industry that is beyond saturated with sales people and a reputation of slick and sleazy sales tricks. Business owners consider you the lowest of the low that call on them for business. Very little of what they will tell you turns out to be the case when you are in the field. They do things different from a compensation standpoint and product offerings but in the end you will figure out that there is nothing special. If you have a college degree, value it and find something else to pay your bills and build experience. Working at corporate seems to be satisfactory which is why the ratings are inflated much higher than they should be. If you are looking to work in the field you will be on an island and realize that you have been wasting your time and making no money.

Thank you for the feedback. We agree, the job isn't easy. If it was, everyone would be doing it. Where we do disagree: everyone at Corporate is here to support, and our Sales Partners are not on islands. As you mentioned, we have differentiated compensation and product offerings and we do believe that in-fact they are special. We're proud of our team, we're proud of our Sales Partners, and we're proud of what we bring to the table. All that said - we are always looking to improve. If there are specific things you believe we can be doing better, I'd love to hear from you directly: rj@spoton.com

Pros

Robust benefits package that covers all the essentials: health, dental, vision, and a 401(k). They also offer an unlimited PTO policy, which is a great perk depending on how you prefer to manage your work-life balance.

Cons

Where do I begin? The product itself is unreliable and faulty, which means you are constantly dealing with angry customers. When you combine an unstable product with inept leadership, it's easy to see why the company struggles with profitability. There is zero culture here (at least in my department), and managers provide a severe lack of training. New employees are routinely thrown into situations they aren't prepared for, yet leadership wastes no time lambasting you when things go wrong. Because of this, morale is incredibly low and turnover is very high. Their internal processes are deeply flawed, and leadership has no intention of fixing them. It is simply too much work and unnecessary stress for the pay. I would stay far away from this company.
