It is the best place I have worked so far. The pay, culture, work life balance etc. is all pretty good. Like any place of work there are some that are better or more helpful than others but generally it has a nice feel and good perks such as an EV scheme.

There has been a lot of change lately with members leaving/retiring which leaves some uncertainty, and the IT could be better. Also the bonus schemes have not been as good as they first appeared.

I currently work at Spire and they have a really good balance and are very understanding with childcare which allows me to work from home when required. There is no micro management and you are trusted to do your job and the support is there whenever it is needed from other members of the team and the head of department , From day one you are given extensive training on the systems and process over several weeks to do your job and are given a laptop to enable you to be able to work from home if required. In what is always a very busy department there is always someone to speak to if needed and the environment and culture of the firm I have found is really good and everyone is very approachable. There is lots going on socially and there is always event and networking opportunities to get involved with which the firm is very supportive of.

I have not encountered any issues.
