As others have mentioned, Engineering leadership is respectfully useless with a sharp downward trend for some time now. Expect a complete lack of coherent direction, and the CEO is an utter liability when it comes to nonsensical interference. I've kept a record of the number of times Michael Nabarro has interjected, failed to understand basic engineering concepts, and left us with a resouding mess only to blame others and abruptly change direction to try and cover his mistake. Ultimately the leaders are to blame given they're not keeping this loose cannon contained. I'm not sure if it's down to greed or boredom or financial concern, but there doesn't appear to be any cool or composed heads left in the upper ranks
