Pros

If you want to advance your career as a pharmacy technician, this job will help you get there and for higher pay. There's a "town hall meeting" every month to announce the Employee of the Month for morning and night shifts. Lunch is provided for free. Weekly pay instead of bi-weekly.

Cons

Hostile and a clique social environment and management is bad. Favoritism at best. Get treated wrong and HR will not help you. Training is also bad because you end up learning from your peers or supervisor. Benefits are okay. With 90 day period, annual reviews and referral bonuses, expect months of delay in getting the payments. High turnover rate! Finally, with COVID-19, this company has shown that they do not care about their employees when news of the pandemic was announced. They waited until someone was tested positive.

Pros

My coworkers and some managers in the company

Cons

left the company for a reason — the pay and benefits were simply not competitive. In the past, many people stayed because employees were treated like family, but over time the environment became far too corporate. Staff are often overworked without proper breaks, and the workplace now feels worse than many other retail settings due to poor benefits and excessive micromanagement. Employees no longer feel valued, and it seems the company would not hesitate to replace staff when convenient. That shift in culture is ultimately why I decided to leave
