Cons

I worked for Spare Time Inc. During a leadership transition, and what I experienced under Scott Walters (President) was completely unacceptable. When I was first hired, I was welcomed warmly and reassured that my position would be secure moving forward. That couldn’t have been further from the truth. Once leadership shifted, those promises meant nothing. The most concerning moment came when I shared my intention to enlist in the U.S. Air Force Reserve. Instead of respect or support, I was met with a completely inappropriate and offensive response—being told I would be “the first to die” My son just joined the USAF, I was questioned as if there was something wrong with me wanting to serve my country. That level of disrespect speaks volumes about leadership character. (Scott is from England - unsure of US Citizen status) From my experience, there is a clear lack of respect for employees and their personal goals undet his leadership. Additionally, leadership appears disconnected, dismissive, and more concerned with control than people and their personal fitness that company has long supported over financial gain. Any company that discourages honorable service and speaks to employees this way should be seriously questioned. When attempts were made to contact ownership, they went unanswered. Mind you the family is well known and I'm sure wouldn't stand for this type of behavior towards an employee let alone general management across the board. Campbell's should step up and listen when others have their best interest in mind.
