Pros
Get to work on the F9 Rocket
Cons
Literally, everything else. Mgmt is a terrible. You’re nothing but a body and a face to work as little hours as they deem necessary. Within 6 months it went from no more than 50 hours per week to 40, then back to 50, then mandatory 60. No consistency whatsoever. They will lie to your face with smile. They promise certain things in the initial interview in which they DO NOT follow through on. Engineering planning is abhorrent. You'd think after doing this for almost 20 years, they'd have it down by now, but no. They'll hire engineers right out of college with little to no experience just so they don't have to pay for quality. Not saying that there aren’t good engineers there, they’re just so few of them. Working on the boosters is one of the coolest jobs to have, but having to put up with everything else that comes with it, IS NOT WORTH IT. The most senior techs are searching for other jobs as I'm writing this. That's how bad it is.
