- Other workers and immediate managers are nice and understanding.
- Days can be pretty busy or quite relaxing, offering some variety in workload.
- Small workforce relative to other places, so it's easy to make connections.
Cons
- Not a wide amount of diversity, though it was improving by the time of leave.
- Senior management can be unorganized at times.
- Preferrential treatment from management and questionable, potential HR-worthy incidents are not too uncommon.
Most of people in lab were University of Waterloo interns. They expect you to read a 1 inch thick manual but do not follow any of it. Most of the equipment is outdated. Not enough people to run the place. On top of it they keep cutting hours.
