4yThanks for taking the time to leave your thoughts. I am glad to hear that the flexibility that we offer here is something that you value. You mention that your department feels a little bit like a start-up. That is something that we hear fairly often here at Sovos. Tax never stops changing – so we can’t either! We have to be agile and adaptable to meet the demands of our industry and our clients and, sometimes, that can lend to a “start-up” feel. And while I tend to think that’s exciting, we also value processes that are repeatable and scalable. I also want to thank you for the advice about promoting from within. We already completely agree with you! Our biggest assets are our existing employees and our policy is took look within the business before recruiting out. In fact, our customer success team has had success in both hiring internally and encouraging their own employees to explore other opportunities within the organization.
