Pros
The pay is good for what the job is - easy!
Cons
*There is so much emphasis put on perception. So much so that management will hold you responsible for the way others feel without holding them accountable. *The company says they value each other completely. That is a lie as management values who they want to value and the rest get lost. FAVORTISM! *No performance reviews for hourly associates. Underperformers get the same raise as they high performers. *Training is not consistent across locations. *Only some people get held accountable while others get away with everything. *If you are promoted to management, be expected to be available 24/7, even during bereavement leave and vacation. They won't tell you this, it will just be expected. *There is an extreme lack of communication. For example, management had a lot of expectations that were never communicated. *A lot of double standards (again favoritism) and brown nosing (sucking up). *If you don't want to be called to the office all the time, don't talk to anyone. Even if you are a people person, don't talk to anyone. Nothing stays with anyone and the gossip is worse than a group of teenage girls.
