Overall, Sortera has been a great place to work. There's been some drama here and there and some ups and downs over the past year, but every time we seem to come out stronger. The business outlook for the company looks bright, we're hitting our revenue targets and expectations are high. Sortera is quite transparent with employees about where we're at financially, what the quarterly goals are, revenue, profit, etc. And most (if not all?) employees get access to stock options. I like my coworkers here in Austin (and the ones I meet from our Indiana facility). Most people are just friendly, down-to-earth, and focused on making Sortera a great company. Compensation is solid. They have annual raises based on performance, generous annual bonuses when financial targets are reached, and a good equity package. Most of the higher-ups, management, C-suite, etc. seem like good people, know what they're doing, and are very accessible.

The Austin office is, officially, onsite-only. But it's generally no problem to WFH every now and then if you have a legit reason to. Sortera is still more of a startup, so processes can be quite disorganized (or missing entirely). It can be hard to know who to communicate with about issues and there's only one manager in Austin who, despite doing an awesome job, is very overloaded. You got to be a go-getter here because no one is going to hold your hand (not a con, imo).

Pay, benefits, fellow employees. It's a small company so you get to wear many different hats.
