Pros
Soroco is a young and small company. This means that you have a huge opportunity to make a difference. Almost everyday you can help improve the company. This is always true, but in a small, agile environment like Soroco your ideas can actually get implemented quickly and you can notice their direct impact within days, not months or years. Tangibly, Soroco is also focused on the right things trying to create a meritocratic environment where the best, data-driven ideas lead to strong, confident decisions. It isn't always possible, but they try to foster that environment. Soroco also has a huge focus on setting a high quality standard. Their internal engineering standards are some of the strictest I've seen in the industry, and they maintain a high bar with the talent they hire.
Cons
The downside to being a young and small company is precisely that: there aren't large teams yet for every function, formal processes defined for every action, or large corporate ladders. The company is rapidly defining all of these levels which is at the same time just as exciting as it is challenging. If you're the kind of person that likes challenges, and a bit more freedom, this won't be an issue for you though.
