Pros
Mostly nice & friendly people. Constantly have new products launched. Talent acquisition good at her job. Office was decent & comfortable Many interesting clients interested to partner with the brand The way management used to talk to the staff used to be quite condescending and embarrassing, after receiving feedback they are truly much more considerate on how they reprimand in public.
Cons
Family culture - there's a reason why you don't do business with family. Hard for managers to be impartial. No opportunities given despite telling you you did a good job, They do not manage slackers, rather maintain relationships. Prefer outspoken extroverted people who can make bosses happy with jokes. Competitive in unproductive ways that make you lose motivation unless you are good at the old school wayang networking way. 100% is the minimum ROI target, even if you hit that your bonus will not be decent unless you hit 150-200% of that target. Don't be fooled by HR promising that if you meet expectations you will get the promised bonus %. Targets can be inflated without your agreement, even if it's very unrealistic. Heard of colleagues being told that they have to move to a bigger portfolio in order to ever get promoted. If you are stuck behind someone who is poor at their job, then you won't get the opportunities, just have to wait until they leave. Several top-down directives that do not work at account-level, causing unhappiness among channels. Colleagues doing operations have to onboard channels and justify ROI despite channels not being keen on this initiative. Only celebrates Chinese New Year. Lack of diversity apparent.
