Pros
15 years ago Sony was one of the most outstanding companies to work for; there was new technology and the people working there were always a good team at all different levels. During the last 5 years the company has gone to mediocre at best, even the product quality has fallen off.
Cons
Sony went through 2 downsizing programs within 5 years and many good people left the company. There are very few good management people left in the company and very little support from corporate headquarters and senior management outside of San Diego.
