Pros
Bulk of employees are relatively nice. Upper management and C-suite are a different story.
Cons
I'll keep this short and sweet as my sentiment seems to be an emerging trend with recent reviews. It's clear where this company is headed and unless things change fast (which seems very unlikely based on how it's run) the future isn't very promising. 1)- The work environment is incredibly toxic. No understanding of work-life balance (especially if you work closely with the C-suite) with frequent weekend and late night asks. 2) Shady communication. Co-founders explicitly told the team there would be no more mass layoffs just a couple months before a mass layoff of about 1/3 of the entire company. The least transparent organization I have ever worked for. 3) Constantly changing business objectives and vision. It's clear that the public perception they are trying to paint doesn't align with what the company is able to produce and achieve. Theranos 2.0 in the making. 4) Little to no ability to advance career. Overall, if you are considering working for Solugen, I would steer very clear. Instead, look for a job that values your personal time, is transparent with staff, has a a clear vision of the future, and allows for growth.
