I was able to build a lot of new systems from scratch and get to see these projects throughout their lifecycle. I was also able to travel a lot around the world for some of these systems.

The company is growing, but still small. The different processes within the company aren't solidified and people are continuously moved around.

The pay was descent, and they offered a flexible schedule. On top of that, the main team was awesome. For the most part, the people working in production and research were great to work with and made the day-to-day enjoyable.

Unfortunately, everything outside of the research and production bubble was pretty miserable. Dealing with HR was a highly toxic experience, and there were specific people in management who just make things incredibly difficult. The culture outside of the immediate team was frustrating.
