Pros
Great co-workers. If it's your first job out of college, it could be a great first job depending on which department you work in. Some people make a good income.
Cons
One manager in particular is very unprofessional. He shows partiality and plays favorites from employee-to-employee. He is unfair. He makes inappropriate comments and is inconsistent in behavior. He contradicts himself and changes his mind often. He is very forgetful and unorganized. He is a very poor trainer by throwing new employees into the job before thorough training. No one is set up on the same playing field and some are given better territories than others. He gives a specialty to new employees without doing proper research to see if it's even a competitive specialty. When that happens, it takes 3-6 months sometimes for someone to get a deal going and by that time, most of them have left. Overall, he is a poor manager who loves to micromanage. Although some micromanaging is needed, he has no structure and doesn't give anything he says or tries to implement any thought, research, or planning. He is extremely discouraging. Out of a full team of 12 people, he has had 10ppl either quit or get fired since January 2009. I will give it 3 months of working with him and every employee will begin looking for a new job. This manager is not qualified and shouldn't be there. In my opinion, if the president was a good leader himself, this manager would be too or he wouldn't be there. If it wasn't for this one manager, I would still be working there.
