Pros

The Cobb office is a nice location. My 2nd team lead was wonderful and supported our growth and celebrated success. For those who are very driven and have a natural knack for the job, this can be a company you make decent money from.

Cons

Management has unrealistic expectations for how recruiters should be performing. There is little understanding to barriers put in place for success, and an old school mentality is adopted that heavily values quantity over quality. High turnover due to middling pay, office favoritism, and a lack of clarity in the vision for the future. Some leaders overvalue their own desks and disregard the needs of the people they are supposed to be leading. The account managers do not get high enough bill rates from clients, which leads to the recruiters being required to lowball highly experienced and highly sought out candidates. Despite these challenges, upper management is still confused as to why some job orders are not being filled. Daily meetings that seem to shame those who are not performing and pat themselves on their backs. 8-5 schedule, leaders will pressure you into working after hours. Was specifically told not to expect any work/life balance my first year. Cold calling all day long on their own database that is outdated. Marketing team sends recruiters poor leads or none at all.

Pros

- The pay is not bad for the most part. You get paid weekly instead of biweekly or monthly. - Good way to start your CFY if you want to dip your toes into a school setting. - I got a placement very quickly (Only a few days). - Decent benefits (401k, medical, dental, vision). - Great support from my supervisor. - Great work/life balance.

Cons

- No pay during the holidays (summer/winter break) - Some miscommunication between the school and the agency. For example, on my first day at work, I was assigned to start at the beginning of the year. When I went to the front office, nobody knew I was the new SLP. The staff and I had to scramble on what to do with me. It was quite confusing and overwhelming. - The school district does not give you full access to their system (e.g., Areies, SEIS) due to not being a direct hire.

Thank you for sharing your experience and feedback! We’re glad to hear you felt supported by your supervisor, appreciated the work/life balance, and found the placement process quick and efficient. We also appreciate your honest comments regarding communication and system access challenges. We understand how frustrating that first-day experience must have been, and we’re continuously working with our school partners to improve onboarding and coordination processes.
