Cons
In the not to distant future, when HBR is doing a case study on the detrimental impact of equity groups on salary and employee health, they will use Solera as an example of a dystopian workplace brought on by the greed and vanity of an equity group. It is not a coincidence that the main owner of Vista had to cut a deal with the IRS for tax evasion to stay out of jail. That level of ethics and morality runs within the current management group.
