Pros
Management is fairly hands-off so for the most part you can do whatever you want as long as you get your work done. I was able to work from home when necessary.
Cons
There are major deficiencies in planning and oversight. As a developer, the requirements I received for projects were severely lacking in detail and constantly changed. I was not provided the support I needed and was forced to make many decisions that senior staff neglected to make. On a typical day, I was unsure what I was supposed to be doing or who I should be reporting, as this changed often. The majority of the work on projects was done by lower-level developers while senior-level staff contributed very little.
