Excellent - PMO Lead Sol-Tec Employee Review

Horrible environment where gossiping & back biting happens constantly.

Sol-Tec is a fantastic company to work at. As a technical person, I get involved in a variety of projects, working with the latest tech, kept engaged and challenged so no two days are the same and dull. There is a great balance between implementation work but also time to do research and development on the latest services being added to Azure. This is an important thing to balance as it keeps us as technical people up to date and not following behind so the company is always leading the way in its areas of expertise. Sol-Tec also invests in its employees, I have a clear career progression path with aims to move up the ladder to be a Cloud Solution Architect. Sol-Tec is supportive of this and provides opportunities to shadow others, be mentored in areas of weaknesses and provide training and exam opportunities. Sol-Tec looks after its employees as well making sure they have a healthy work and personal life balance, that no one is overworked, time can be taken where needed for important personal reasons and offers work organised social activities.

Downsides? The only downside I have experienced so far is the induction process into the company. The first week or two things were a little confusing in terms of processes and having access to necessary company resources.
