Pros

Absolute top tier work environment. Work/life balance isn't just a thing, but heavily encouraged. Quality work gets acknowledged. One of the few places I've ever been where it feels like management is working alongside you, as opposed to talking down to you.

Cons

This gets harder to define. Really, because it's a small company, there is a ceiling on career advancement, but that's expected with any small business. And there are plenty of trade-offs that make it worth it.

Pros

Constantly working on some of the latest technologies. Nice location and quiet office. Very cool product that can be value add for the industry. Tons of potential if lead properly.

Cons

The owners are off their rocker. They are both great engineers but horrible managers. Way below average pay. 60+ hour weeks to just barely keep up. Benefits kept getting worse and worse. Cutting corners like turning off hot water to water dispenser cause they thought that would save them money. No disabled access. They fired all the smokers to get lower insurance rates and then posted a sign flaunting "smoke free business". One of the owners would make passes at any young women working there and if he didn't like you he would treat you like crap until you quit or he decided to fire you. Very little gratitude for any hard work and most advice would fall on deaf ears unless it was something they already wanted to do. Reviews were few and far between and raises were handed out even less (unless you were liked by the owners). Owners would give a verbal OK for something but when it came time to execute they would deny and ask if it was in writing, often after the fact. Owners would disrespect employees and "discretely" complain about performance issues or opinions about employees to other employees. (I hated hearing this). They preferred to not give out titles so they wouldn't have to compare pay to industry standards
