As always, firstly let me thank you for taking the time to post your feedback.
We really appreciate your positive comments, but there are two disappointing aspects to your feedback that I would be very interested to hear more about, so would welcome a further conversation with you if you’d be willing? Here at Softcat and most certainly in the HR department we take very seriously any allegations of bullying and sexism. This is never and will never be tolerated. So as above, whilst you didn’t come forward with these issues during your time here, I’d welcome a discussion so any such alleged issues can be addressed.
With regards to your comments on the role, in the early days you are expected to cold call and find your own accounts, which means you may not get much opportunity to talk in depth about IT. However, the role over time develops and becomes much more consultative, at which point, you will find yourself using a lot more of that IT knowledge. We feel we cover this off well during the recruitment process, but apologise if you feel that message wasn’t clear for you.
We believe passionately about what we do here at Softcat and again apologise if you’re experience wasn’t the best that it could have been.
