Toxic and very clicky workforce. If they don’t like you they will get rid of you, was given a “mentor” who didn’t really help me and expected alot more then should have been. Micro managed to the max and don’t be fooled by the events and company car the workforce and higher management are snakey to the max. I’m not the only person who has felt like this. Absolutely the worst mistake I made was to go and work here. I would never recommend working here. Even the people in the head office were snakey. You were made to feel bad in the office to have a chat around non work things and you will have to walk on egg shells whilst being in Malvern.

Pros

The beginning when everyone is trying to be nice, including the sociopaths. Pay was ok initially, pay increases were miserly, and there is an annual bonus that everyone gets, when it is paid. Outside of the clique most people were very nice and good to work with. CEO was very easy to get along with and approachable.

Cons

The sociopaths. There are a few, both in middle manamement and a senior consultant. There is a very strong clique that is hard to impossible to break into. You need to be another sociopath in order to be accepted into the clique. It has a very flat hierarchy, so you have little to no chance for career progression. The culture and values is a total farce. They rant on saying all of the right things, but this is only done to create a positive impression. At the end of the day you are just a number and could be gone tomorrow without notice. There is a very fast moving revolving door. The ERP is clunky and slow to use, and when loaded with too much data it slows terribly, with customers often complaining. They sell new consultants as experienced consultants to customers in order to get a better rate for your time, which puts you in a difficult position when the customer is expecting you to know everything about the system. The end result you look like an inadequate employee, which distracts from managements inadequacies.

Very flexible company with regard to work hours; Excellent self-development and learning opportunities Interesting projects and possibilities to change roles Person and personality-oriented approach

Cons

Vague and late communication about essential management or structural changes; Teams and consultants working for larger customers / implementation projects are very visible and lauded; teams working for smaller or maintenance customers don't get much recognition, or none at all. Colleague reviews about team achievements and contributions don't seem to be considered by team lead/unit coach, even when they provide clear feedback. As a result, positive or negative decisions regarding pay raise are taken by the people who know least about the employee's achievements. Often blatantly incompetent resources are kept in service, whilst contracts of competent employees are suspended - incomprehensible and very frustrating! These decisions seem to be taken for financial considerations, but end up burdening a team's performance and sprint achievements. Increasingly more reports and rumors of unhappy consultants, feeling unappreciated, unheard and invisible. New projects are taken on but can't be backed up by sufficiently trained/experienced resources.
