Pros
High profile company that - for now - is perceived as exciting and successful.
Cons
Terrible group of people who have created an unbearable culture. Rather than strive to succeed, most energy is spent on undermining and undercutting others. This place is bloodsport, with a large faction of people who believe that tearing people down is the way to get ahead. Executive team is bloated and extremely low quality. Secretive, ineffective and unpleasant to interact with. Many members lie frequently. Poor understanding of customer behaviour and market dynamics. CEO is lost and untrustworthy. Business has failed to take off. Revenues are low while losses are large. Large infusions of capital are the only reason the company is still around. Big strategy swings happen frequently, usually causing significant declines in sales. Very hard to get things done. Technology, the ClearMatch platform, is extraordinarily poor. ClearMatch is a major albatross to the company and numerous attempts to ditch it and start over have failed because of personal agendas on the executive team. The technology team is very over-staffed, yet completely ineffectual. It's impossible to make any changes, nothing ever ships, and what little does is useless and filled with errors. SocietyOne is on a well-earned path to oblivion.
