It's truly so disappointing to see the decisions that SoSafe leadership has made and continues to make, especially regarding layoffs and reorgs over the last six months (and total lack of communication or explanation from leaders). There is a complete lack of vision from leaders, and no big picture that the company is actually working towards. Niklas seems to have some ideas, but overall leadership has no focus and makes snap decisions with no follow through or communication. The most recent Q&A session really displayed leadership's lack of willingness to take ownership over their decisions. When asked about recent layoffs that were unannounced and extremely sudden, they all went on the defensive and used "we're a startup" as an excuse for the lack of communication and reasoning. There is a pattern of layoffs happening to people 1-2 weeks before their probation period ends, which is just silly and immature. Hiring is an expensive and resource-intensive activity. Why are we hiring people just to train them and immediately fire them? Why could we not work on job training and helping them fit into roles that are needed?
