Pros
Rocket-ship of a company. The name “Snowflake” is very trendy so it’s not as difficult to sell. The product is solid and more of the Fortune 100 are giving in because of how well the platform runs. It just works. Lots of hard-working and intelligent employees. Most are incredibly ambitious. Great work culture (if you have the right manager and are a team player).
Cons
This is not the place for you if you aren’t self-directed and ambitious. Play the game bc promotions are not easy to come by for sales reps. Is this by design? Not sure but they need to fix that otherwise your talent will leave for better pastures. Speaking of…They struggle to keep their best talent in the org globally. Wild to see them bleed so many of their best performing SDRs. They need to focus on retaining their talent not just rapidly hiring new people to train. Next point - territory splits vary wildly. AEs may/may not enjoy their split because they’re used to having more accounts. Less accounts with a higher quota? Harder to exceed 150% and less payouts. Last time I checked the quota attainment hovered at 60% - could/should be a little higher for the product we’re selling tbh. Base compensation could be a lot higher too.
