Pros
1) Director level and down are all good people (a small number of upper management are too) and great to work with. 2) Good pay and excellent benefits. 3) They don't force old people out (most of us are old people).
Cons
I cannot state this is true about all areas of the company, but for the division I work all stands true: 1) Zero room for advancement. Even when someone retires or dies, executive management refuses to backfill position. Simply spreads the responsibilities among others who are spread thin already. 2) Lack of investment in resources translates to lackluster systems, people performance and disappointing products. 3) Products strategy is 'if we build it, they will come'. Only reason we're making money and remain competitive is because of the generation that came before us who made this company/brand. 4) Majority of executive management are self-absorbed egotistical white males. 'Good ol' boys' is an understatement.
