Pros
I've only been with Smore for the last four months or so, and I really do love it. The company promotes team-work, and you do feel valued as a member. The team itself is easy-going, hard-working, down-to-earth, and friendly. This is one of the only jobs I've had that takes the work/life balance seriously. The hours are great, and management trusts that you are going to get your work done, so they are a bit more flexible with vacation and sick days. Management is generous with salaries, and you can see that they respect their employees' time, ideas, and experience. There are plenty of opportunities to move up in the company as well. Management holds multiple meetings with staff to make sure that everyone is in the loop. They also plan frequent one-on-one meetings to hear your ideas, and to make sure that you are happy and thriving within the company.
Cons
Smore is a start-up, so sometimes policies or operations can change day-to-day. On the other hand, it can take a bit long to implement company policies or changes to the product.
