To be successful here you need to have a diverse hybrid skill set that balances value selling, a consultative customer facing approach, have financial and business process acumen, and be dangerous enough technically. You need to be able sell bottoms up, top down, and sideways at the same time. You’ll be a plate spinner at times, but will find highly strategic opportunities along the way that will earn you a a life changing W2 if you do it all right.
